Blue Knights Tx XX "Beat The Heat" Ride 8-9-08 Part I

Today, Saturday, 8-9-08, the Blue Knights Tx XX had its "Beat The Heat" Ride to Throckmorton, Tx. We left at 0730 hrs and got in at the Country Cafe just a little short of 9 a.m. We had a great turnout. Present for this ride were: Russ & Linda, Greg & Chris, Doug & Tati, Rodney & Rianne & Vicki, Christina & Joe, Janis & Robert, Sissy & Steve, Mark & Cathy, David & Becky, Robbie & Mike, Bobby, Steve G, Paul, Lance, Steve C, Mitchell & Mike, Wade, and me (John). Here is the group shot taken at Throckmorton Texas. Thought you would like to see us all together. What follows is our rallying point at Wal-Mart on SW Parkway in Wichita Falls, Texas and the ride South to Throckmorton Texas. About a 74 mile ride.

We meet at the Wal-Mart..A great turnout. We had 22 bikes & 30 people: Members, family members and friends..

Steve G at Wal-Mart. He was riding solo today as Lacy had to work. I think he took more pictures than I did, if that is possible. You will get to see his pictures when he forwards them to me and I do his post on this ride..

I had to track down Rianne to get her pic taken with her mom & dad. She did good and went over to them with the minimum of complaint.. Look at her body language...Hmmmm.
