Dan "KEBO IRENG" pun SELESAI !!!! (Suzuki GT-550 1976)
Ada yang menggelitik saat julukan "KEBO IRENG" disematkan ke Suzuki GT-550 lansiran tahun 1976 ini. Bodi besarnya dengan warna hitam dibalut stripping grafis halus dan bobotnya yang sampai butuh dua orang untuk sekedar memasang standar tengah di motor tersebut membuat julukan itu terlontar dari salah satu mekanik Studio Motor Custom Bike sampai akhirnya nama "KEBO IRENG" kita berikan ke motor tersebut.Butuh waktu sampai dengan 4.5 bulan untuk melakukan modifikasi terhadap Suzuki GT-550 ini sejak kedatangannya pertama kali ke workshop kami. Awal mula setelah konsep disepakati antara pemilik motor dan kami yang diberikan kepercayaan untuk melakukan ubahan dimulailah kustomisasi pada sektor rangka, terlebih pada sektor buritan. Pemilihan desain tangki dengan model mengotak dan dapat diisi hampir 15 liter BBM sebetulnya didasari pada harmonisasi bentuk keseluruhan dari motor ini dengan ciri mesin 3 silinder segaris ber-genre 2 tak-nya yang cukup gambot. Ide penerapan jok tunggal di motor tersebut lebih pada ide sang pemilik motor untuk menikmati sang "KEBO IRENG" saat mengendarainya sendirian. Selebihnya untuk desain mulai dari sektor kaki-kaki, pemilihan desain airbrush yang simpel sesuai permintaan sang pemilik, ubahan sektor buritan dan lain-lain lebih didasari oleh imajinasi dan juga konsep-konsep yang kami lihat dari builder-builder luar negeri sebagai sedikit referensi untuk kami.
Selebihnya untuk dapat menikmati sang "KEBO IRENG" ini dapat dilihat pada foto-foto dibawah. Setelah selesai proses modifikasi kami mencoba mengikutsertakan "KEBO IRENG" di salah satu kontes modifikasi yang berlangsung tanggal 26 Februari 2011 lalu, dan Alhamdulillah "KEBO IRENG" berhasil menggondol Juara 2 untuk kelas modifikasi Jap's Style walaupun sebetulnya layak untuk menjadi jawara di kontes tersebut.
