Ft. Richardson "Lost A$$ Putt" 6-29-08 Part 1

On Sunday, 6-29-08, Ft. Richardson in Jacksboro Texas, hosted a fun run. It consisted of a 100 mile run in the country ending up back at Ft. Richardson, where the Park Rangers cooked fajitas for everyone. Apparently, somewhere on the fun run, we deviated from the plotted course and some got on Mike, our Road Captain, for getting us lost. Now, whether we were lost or not, I don't know. I had no idea where we were anyway & I was just following the group. So, at a gas stop, Mike told me that he wanted this run called "The Ft. Richardson "Lost A$$ Putt" due to the aforementioned information. So, there you have it...For more info on Ft Richardson, click on the following link: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/fort_richardson/#hist Scroll on down & enjoy our adventures today. When I got up to go get the paper this morning, this is what I saw when the garage door opened....rain!! Didn't look like today was gonna be any fun...I called Patti, after getting some calls from other riders, and she said the ride had been postponed for one hour with everyone meeting at the Wal-Mart on SW Parkway with kick stands up at 0900 hrs.

I got hold of some friends that were going and it stopped raining at 0805 hrs and we headed to Wal-Mart...Here is Kaitlynn & Rodney. Kaitlynn is a friend of Rodney's daughter, Rianne, who was riding with Vicki, her mom.

We arrive at Wally World. Here is Rich, kicked back and enjoying himself..
