Venice Beach Skate Park

I met up with Maestro to go check out the brand new, $2,000,000+ skate park on Venice Beach. Legends Lance Mountain, Jesse Martinez and Steve Olson were also there skating the big bowl. That was the 1st time I had ever seen Lance Mountain skate in person, and it was tripping me out. I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't watching a television, and that he was really right there in front of me, in real life! He was killing the bowl to; long, super-smooth backside and frontside airs out of a 12 foot bowl. It looks crazy when you see that in real life.

It was soooo many people there skating that it was a straight up crash derby, lol. There's ALOT of good stuff @ the park, but it's all just a little too close together. I was killing the little bump, quarterpipe corner thing. Here are some pics of me that Maestro took with his iPhone. His timing is great! He's mastered the iPhone camera delay, hahaha....
