Natalie Maria Cole is the daughter of noted crooner Nat King Cole and former Duke Ellington Orchestra singer Maria Hawkins Ellington Cole. While Maria had sung with Ellington's band, Ellington is no relation to Duke Ellington. Cole was raised in the affluent Hancock Park district of Los Angeles, just a few doors down from the California governor.She has referred to her family as "the black Kennedys." She was exposed to the greats of jazz, soul and blues at an early age. Cole sang on her father's Christmas album at the age of six, and she began performing at the age of 11.
Cole grew up with older adopted sister Carole "Cookie" (1944-2009) (her mother Maria's younger sister's daughter); adopted brother Nat "Kelly" Cole (1959-1995), and younger twin sisters Timolin and Casey (born 1961).

Tyler was born in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Robin Gregory, a teacher, and Jim Tyler, a photographer.Her parents divorced when she was 10 and she was raised by her father. She pursued an early interest in comedy during high school, when she would skip her regular courses to attend local improv classes. She attended McAteer High School in San Francisco.She also attended classes at San Francisco's School of the Arts High School. She attended Dartmouth College where she earned a degree in environmental policy and was a member of The Tabard, a co-ed fraternity. At Dartmouth, she co-founded and sang in the all-female a cappella group, The Dartmouth Rockapellas, a group devoted to spreading social awareness through song. After briefly working for a San Francisco advertising firm, she toured the country pursuing a comedy career before finally moving to Los Angeles, California in 1996.

Aimee Teegarden was born and raised in Downey, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, and lived in a "regular" home with a mother, father, brother, and many pets.
At the age of ten, Aimee was contacted by an acting class, and asked her parents to sign her up. They agreed, and enrolled her into a few acting classes. Not long afterwards, Aimee’s dream of acting was realized, when she got an agent and started going to auditions.
Acting is not her only hobby. She loves many types of sports, including hockey, baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse, snowboarding, wake boarding, rock climbing, bowling, and surfing. She is also very active in the community. When she is back at home in Downey, she is actively involved in the Jobs Daughter’s Downey Bethel. Jobs Daughter’s is an organization that services projects to help the community, the less fortunate, and other charities. Aimee is also a past Sweetheart of Walt Disney Chapter Order of DeMolay. She also loves to spend time with the love of her life, her adorable canine companion named Gizmo.
On August 24, 2007, she acted as the questioner to Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant contestant Caitlin Upton. On June 19, 2008 in Anaheim, California, she was awarded "Honorary International Sweetheart of DeMolay International" by International Master Councilor, Austin Whitaker.
