Toyota Avanza

Toyota Avanza adalah mobil yang diproduksi di Indonesia oleh pabrikan Daihatsu, yang di pasarkan dalam dua merk yaitu Toyota Avanza dan Daihatsu Xenia. Mobil ini diluncurkan saat Gaikindo Auto Expo pada 2003 dan terjual 100.000 unit pada tahun tersebut. Nama "Avanza" berasal dari bahasa Italia avanzato, yang berarti "peningkatan". Versi khusus dari Avanza (S Type) diluncurkan pada akhir 2004 dengan menggunakan mesin VVTi Toyota. Peluncuran versi ini juga ditujukan sebagai "Test Market" bagi rencana pengembangan All Avanza-Xenia VVTi dan Automatic Edition. Edisi khusus ini juga dilengkapi dengan transmisi otomatis. Hanya 200 unit Avanza (S Type) yang diproduksi.

Pada akhir tahun 2006, diluncurkan New Avanza-Xenia dengan perubahan tampilan, aksesoris, peningkatan performa serta mesin baru berteknologi VVTi yang melengkapi semua versi. Pada akhir tahun 2006 juga diluncurkan New S-Type (1.5 S VVTi) yang merupakan versi terlengkap dengan mesin berkapasitas 1500cc VVTi, Rear Parking Sensor, teknologi pengereman ABS serta Alloy 15" Velg Wheels. Mesin 1500cc VVTi yang digunakan oleh Toyota Avanza memiliki spesifikasi yang sama persis dengan Toyota Rush. New S-Type tersedia dalam dua pilihan transmisi, manual dan automatic.
Toyota Avanza juga dipasarkan di sejumlah negara Asia Pasifik seperti Malaysia (Versi 1.5G dilengkapi dengan Airbag), Thailand, dan Filipina, selain itu juga dipasarkan di Afrika Selatan dan Mexico. Sementara Daihatsu Xenia juga dijual di Republik Rakyat Cina dengan konfigurasi kapasitas mesin 4 silinder 1500cc seperti Avanza.

Toyota Yaris

Toyota Yaris atau Toyota Vitz adalah mobil hatchback kecil yang diproduksi ole Toyota Motor Corporation. Yaris dirakit di Thailand yang dijual di pasar Asia. Yaris lahir pertama kali pada tahun 1999 di Eropa dengan desain, performa mesin, dan jaminan keselamatan serta konsumsi bahan bakar yang optimal, untuk memasuki pangsa pasar Eropa. Satu tahun setelah awal peluncurannya, tepatnya pada tahun 2000 Yaris memperoleh penghargaan European Car of The Year Award. Bukan hanya itu saja Yaris juga diakui sebagai standar model kendaraan Compact two box di Jepang dan Amerika Utara.

Generasi Pertama (1999-2005) Vitz atau Yaris menggantikan Toyota Starlet sebagai hatchback kecil dari Toyota. Mesin yang digunakan adalah 1000 cc, 1300 cc, atau 1500 cc bensin. Mesin diesel 1400 cc hanya tersedia di Eropa. Di Jepang, Vitz tersedia dalam trim level B, F, U, Clavia, dan RS. Clavia adalah model bergaya klasik, sedangkan RS adalah model sporty.
Generasi Kedua (2005-Sekarang) Toyota Vitz generasi kedua hadir di Jepang pada tahun 2005, dan dipasarkan di seluruh dunia pada tahun 2006 dengan nama Yaris.
Indonesia- Yaris dipasarkan secara resmi di Indonesia mulai tahun 2006 dengan model E dengan transmisi manual dan automatic, serta S and S Limited yang hanya tersedia dengan transmisi automatic. Versi S memiliki body kit and lampu kabut, dan Push button start / stop hanya untuk model S Limited. Semua model menggunakan mesin 1500 cc 1NZ-FE dengan VVT-i yang sama digunakan oleh Toyota Vios. Versi facelift dengan bumper depan, grille, dan lampu belakang baru hadir untuk model tahun 2009. Sebagai tambahan, model dasar yaitu J yang tidak memiliki SRS airbag dipasarkan dengan harga dibawah model E. Model S dengan transmisi manual menggantikan versi lama yang automatic, sedangkan model paling mahal tetap S Limited.

Toyota Motor Corp will be releasing a new petrol electric hybrid in Japan while the Prius will compete with Hyundai Motor Co in Korea. Toyota hopes to sell 36,000 of its new Sai hybrid sedan, Toyota’s goal being one million hybrid cars a year globally after 2010.

The Sai is Toyota’s second hybrid-only car, this car is a redesign of the Lexus HS250 hybrid. The Sai is based on a concept derived from the Japanese word sai-which means "talent" when written as "" and "coloration" when written as ""-as a hybrid-only sedan "combining advanced talent and multi-color sophistication".

The Sai is based on the Lexus HS250h hybrid, a vehicle designed for people who want a more premium hybrid experience than they would get in the Toyota Prius. The Sai would seem to fit somewhere in between. It offers the same powerplant as the HS, but not quite as many luxury features. It's basically an HS with different nose, tail and interior detailing.

System (THS) II combining a 2.4-liter Atkinson cycle combustion engine with an electric motor and a reduction gear. The Toyota Sai Hybrid uses a 2.4-liter petrol engine generating just under 150 horsepower, and up to 187 Nm of torque. It is mated to a strong electric motor, powered by a nickel-metal hydride battery, which produces an additional 140 hp and up to 270 Nm of torque. The Toyota Sai Hybrid powertrain is designed to utilize the two generators efficiently, giving the driver up to 185 hp at any given time.

An exhaust heat recovery system uses exhaust gas to heat the engine, thus shortening engine-warming time and contributing to greatly improved fuel efficiency, especially when outside temperatures are low.
