April Reign

People can say all they want about Football being America's game, but there is nothing better than following a baseball team for a 162 games. Even when there is minimal change on a roster, each season is different. It has its own trademark, the one thing that 10 years from now you will remember it by. In 09 it was the comeback. Last year it was it was Jeter's downfall. What will '11 bring? In the words of Bart Scott - I Can't Wait.

The bats have started out hot and in light of the lack of SP depth, its important for the Yanks to ride the wave as long as they can. All of last year it seemed that when Teixeira was hot, A-Rod was cold. Having them both hitting at the same time this early in the season is crucial for the Yanks to maintain footing in the ultra competitive AL East.

Tonight the Yanks take on the Twinks behind the big fella Carsten Charles Sabathia III. The Yanks have absolutely owned Minnesota at home since 2002, going 31-6 against them. At this point both sides are aware of it, and it seems the Twinks are always waiting for the ball to drop, especially in close games. I look for tonight to be no different behind CC. Lets Go Yan-Keees.
